Welcome to Rooted and Running!
Hi there! I’m Sarah – Christian, wife, mama to a toddler and surprise twins, and the voice behind Rooted and Running. I’m now a stay-at-home mom with a master’s in economics, a love for card games, and a husband I met playing college soccer. We love playing sports and games as a family and constantly have toddler dance music on (reach out if you want some hidden gems for your playlist). My weakness is ice cream, beach vacations are my favorite, and my go-to playlist for a long drive includes A LOT of Disney songs.
Most of my day revolves around feeding toddlers, cleaning up after them, and finding ways to keep them engaged — usually the park when it’s nice out, and endless stickers inside when it’s not. On top of that, trying to juggle cooking, dishes, laundry, Bible reading, workouts, and somehow—sleep!
Even in the chaos, God is using these ordinary days to grow my patience, joy, and gratitude. Motherhood is the most amazing gift, but it is hard. I started this blog with the hope that it can be a space of encouragement for your spirit and provide community during a time that can feel isolating. Whether you’re chasing after toddlers, big dreams, or just a chance to shower, I am so happy you’re here! Let’s run this marathon together, rooted in faith and filled with gratitude.
